Bree began her advocacy in the movement to end gender-based violence in 1997. Since then, she has worked as an advocate, trainer, coordinator, technical assistance provider, supervisor and program director for community-based, domestic and sexual violence organizations. Bree brings unwavering energy and focus on the real-life experiences of survivors and the advocates who support them. She has led coordinated community response teams, facilitated batterer intervention programs, developed innovative service projects and led the implementation and enhancement of the St. Paul Blueprint for Safety. Bree joined the Praxis staff in 2018 as a Senior Advisor and currently serves as the senior manager responsible for the implementation of Praxis’ Rural programs. She is the chair of the board of directors for Violence Free Minnesota, the statewide coalition to end relationship abuse.
