Bree began her advocacy in the movement to end gender-based violence in 1997. Since then, she has worked as an advocate, trainer, coordinator, supervisor and program director for community-based, domestic and sexual violence organizations. Bree brings unwavering energy and focus on the real-life experiences of victims/survivors and the advocates who support them. She has led coordinated community response teams, facilitated batterer intervention programs, developed innovative service projects and led the implementation and enhancement of the St. Paul Blueprint for Safety. Bree consulted with Praxis prior to joining the staff in 2018. She implements and promotes Praxis’ training and technical assistance across all program areas with a focus on our Blueprint for Safety, Rural and Institutional Analysis projects. Bree volunteers as an executive board member for Violence Free Minnesota, a statewide coalition to end relationship abuse.
